How To Build A Website From Scratch
In this episode of Zero2Webmaster Office Hours, Dr. Kerry Kriger guides One Health Bangladesh Founder Dr. Nurul Islam through the process of building a website from scratch.
Nurul used HostGator to install WordPress on his server. Dr. Kriger begins by removing the unwanted plugins and themes that came with HostGator’s install. Then we:
– Add some important plugins (Classic Editor, Elementor, Admin Menu Editor; Add Categories To Pages, Redirection);
– Clean up the admin menu (left sidebar);
– Install the Hello Elementor and Astra themes;
– Create a Contact, Blog and Home page;
– Create a Main Menu
– Examine and edit the site’s Settings.
